With 2,965 acres of terrain and a lift system that makes accessing the entire mountain a breeze, the Steamboat Ski Resort offers an exceptional experience for skiers and snowboarders of all experience levels. All of the terrain leads down to the Steamboat base area where guests can choose to start their day on the Silver Bullet Gondola or one of the many base lifts that whisk riders to the trails on Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead PEak, Pioneer Ridge, or Christie Peak. Snowboarders will be amazed at the Maverick Superpipe at over 500 feet long, 56 feet wide and with an 18 foot radius located next to the terrain park with a wide variety of rails, sliders, mailboxes, double barrels, and an outdoor sound system. Pioneer Ridge, Sunshine Peak and Sotrm Peak offer some of the best gladed skiing in the country. There is so much for beginners, intermediates, and experts alike on Steamboat Mountain that you will want to extend your vacation another week or two!
