Copper Mountain Vacation Packages

Copper Mountain, Colorado’s hidden treasure, takes the family ski vacation to a new level. Sprawling terrain, uncrowded slopes, consistently superior snow conditions, and family-friendly pedestrian villages make Copper Mountain a truly special Colorado ski vacation destination. Nature has divided Copper Mountain so that every skier and rider- beginner, intermediate, and expert- has their own zone to ski. Whether staying in the bustling Village at Copper or the more restive East Village or Union Creek areas your Copper Mountain lodging will be steps from the slopes. Kids will love the scheduled nighttime activities and recreation center, while adults kick back and enjoy the variety of restaurants and unassuming nightlife. Your Rocky Mountain Getaways Copper Mountain vacation specialists love to ski and play here, let us arrange your Copper Mountain experience at the best rates available so you can see why Copper is the local’s favorite.

  • The Mountain: The unique mountain layout neatly and naturally divides the beginner, intermediate and expert trails into three distinct areas of the mountain giving snow enthusiasts of all levels the freedom to find their own speed and style. Advanced skiers will relish the steep bowls and challenging moguls, intermediates can travel the entire resort on beautiful groomers, and beginners will find tons of gentle trails to explore. Copper Mountain’s base is 9700 feet with the summit at 12,313, creating over 2600 feet of vertical spread over 2500 acres. The annual snowfall is about 280 inches, and many regard it as the finest powder in Colorado. All of Rocky Mountain Getaways guests enjoy the Secret Pass ticket upgrade that whisks you right to the front of the lines on many of the higher volume lifts.
  • The Resort: Three distinct base areas are situated within steps of the slopes. The Village at Copper is the main base area centered around a collection of shops, restaurants, an ice rink, and access to beginner and intermediate terrain. The East Village is a short walk or shuttle from the main base area and offers a more serene atmosphere with easier access to advanced terrain as well as the tubing hill. And the Union Creek base area is home to Copper’s Children’s Ski School. The atmosphere at Copper is relaxed, fun, and family-friendly. There are a number of supervised children’s programs designed to free up days and evenings for parents.
  • Lodging: There are several lodging opportunities at Copper Mountain, virtually all of them slopeside or just a short walk to the lifts. Ranging in quality and size, Copper Mountain features a collection of lodging properties with hotel rooms and fully equipped condominiums that are focused on the mountain experience. Comfortably appointed condominiums in each village are ideal for families and groups of friends while the luxury private homes in the exclusive Lewis Ranch area in Union Creek or the Masters neighborhood in the East Village are perfect for multiple families.
  • Dining: Pizza with the kids, a romantic night out, or a big breakfast to kick-start the day- Copper Mountain’s villages offer a wide range of dining options all within an easy stroll of the mountain and your accommodations. The nearby town of Frisco extends the dining, shopping, and nightlife options.
  • Activities: Snow shoe or cross-country ski in the White River Forest, or taste the backcountry with free snow cat access to Tucker Mountain. Enjoy s’mores and cocoa on the Triple Treat Sleigh Ride, tackle the snow-tubing hill, or enjoy a guided snowmobile tour. Copper’s Athletic Club has racquetball courts, a full fitness center, hot tubs, spa, and a 25-yard indoor heated pool. Expand your pipe and park skills with some off-snow training at Copper’s state-of-the-art indoor training facility--Woodward at Copper.
  • Getting There: Copper Mountain is 75 miles from Denver International Airport. Rocky Mountain Getaways travel specialists will arrange your flight, rental car, and everything else you need to get to the resort for the best rates available
