Serenely situated alongside a mountain brook, offering a true mountain retreat, the Brookside House is strictly for vacationers that like to play on and off of the mountain! Just minutes from downtown Breckenridge and the lifts, you will feel like you are in the middle of the Colorado wilderness. From the hot tub deck, you can watch the intensely blue Colorado skies through the treetops while listening to the sound of the brook. This 2,500 square foot, three bedroom plus Family Room and three bathroom vacation home is ideal for families or groups of up to twelve who want to enjoy the mountains from among the forest.
A sunken living room faces a wood-burning stove and the entertainment center with TV/VCR/Stereo. Off of the living room is a deck with a gas grill and deck furniture offering an lovely space to entertain. All furnishings in the dining and living area are of southwestern motif. Fully equipped, the kitchen is open to the vaulted, two-story ceiling above the dining and living area and is separated from them with a breakfast bar with four bar stools. The dining room table seats eight, and is surrounded on two sides by windows overlooking the vast forest outside.
One of the highlights of Brookside House is the large, 800 square foot Family Room complete with full-size, Ash and Oak pool table, and a large wet bar with ice-maker and small refrigerator. The entertainment area of this room includes a regulation dart board, large screen, stereo TV/VCR and CD player. There is also a game table in front of large windows looking out to Mt. Baldy and the Continental Divide. There are two queen sleeper sofas of southwestern motif and a full bath on this level.
On the north side of the house, a large deck overlooking the brook houses a six-person hot tub.
On the upper level a King bedroom with a private deck shares a bathroom with a Queen bedroom. A third bedroom with two twin beds is located on the main level where there is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Additional bedding is located in the lower level Family Room which is furnished with two Queen sleeper sofas. All bedrooms are furnished with white-enameled Lane(TM) furniture.
