 Taking a break from the slopes during your ski vacation is not a break from the fun when you are in Breckenridge. Situated right at the base of the ski mountain, Main Street is filled with tons of retail stores, antique shops, spas, gift shops, and many other attractions. We have listed some of our favorite spots below, but you will need to take a stroll or two down the avenue during your ski vacation to experience all that Breckenridge has to offer.
If you are driving into town you may want to stop at the City Market grocery store on your way. As you enter Breckenridge you will make a right turn onto South Park Ave. & the City Market plaza is the first left. If you have taken a shuttle into town you can access the supermarket plaza via the free Summit Stage or Breckenridge Circulator.
City Liquors, located in the City Market plaza, offers a full array of beers, wines, & liquors. Additionally, there is a liquor store on Park Avenue next to the River Mountain Lodge & on Ridge St. next to the post office as well as a wine shop on Main St. City liquors is typically the best priced shop. All of these stores are closed on Sundays & state holidays, beer can be purchased at City Market all days.
