What happens in Breckenridge cannot stay in Breckenridge…you will not be able to stop telling everyone about how great a time you had! Indeed, the fun on the slopes is just the beginning. Not many resorts boast as wide a variety of dining establishments, bars, and nightclubs as Breckenridge. From Western to Modern, there is plenty of food and music to meet everyone’s tastes. Rather than list all of the businesses with a stock description, below you will find our recommendations….we live here and play here, so here’s the real scoop on what’s good in Breckenridge.





MORNING STARTERS 

We recommend starting your day with a hearty breakfast heavy on the carbs. The extra energy will help with the altitude & make your time on the mountain more enjoyable & less of a drain. Even if you plan on cooking in most days, it’s nice to take a morning to have a big breakfast prepared for you—A great way to start the day!

Cool River Coffee House- True local charm, whether it is a latte or a freshly baked cinnamon roll you are craving, cool river is the place to go! Enjoy your choices of freshly baked goods or a hot soup of the day for lunch.

EATING 

Some great places for a more casual meal. Every place is casual in Breckenridge, but here are some places that are great for lunch or dinner with the family or to watch a game & have a beer at the bar. 

Fatty’s Pizzeria- A real locals favorite, Fatty’s offers a family atmosphere that is sure to please even the youngest of patrons. Enjoy buckets of pasta for take out or eat in for some great Italian options. Fatty’s also has 12 TVs in their sports bar making it a locals favorite for many years! Blue River Bistro- One of our favorite lunch spots, offering a casual elegant atmosphere to create the ultimate dining experience. Don't forget to try stop here for their early or late night happy hour offering 2 for 1 appetizers and martinis– choose from 75 different martini's!

QUALITY DINING 

We enjoy dining at these restaurants & have found them to consistently provide quality food in a comfortable environment with outstanding service. While every place in Breckenridge is family friendly & casual, these are some of the higher-end establishments in town. Reservations recommended.

Café Alpine- Casual yet elegant with great ambience, this is one of the better dining establishments in town. A unique tapas bar & extensive wine list provide a great beginning to a wonderfully presented gourmet meal. Adams St. 453-8218.

Briar Rose- History surrounds as you dine in this 1800’s boarding house that served hearty meals to tired miners. Known for their steaks & wild game, you will be pleased with the quality servings & authentic Breckenridge atmosphere. Lincoln Ave. 453-9948

Cecelia’s- A great trendy spot to enjoy a cocktail & mingle. This 20-something hang-out is a fun place to dance the night away.

Salt Creek Restaurant & Saloon- Every night is a party! This legendary Breckenridge nightclub offers great atmosphere & a huge dance floor. 

Sherpa & Yeti’s- The live music hotspot in town. The best live shows featuring Reggae, Hip-Hop, Techno, & great Rock Bands. 

Gold Pan Bar- A locals favorite for years this historic bar offers a combination of live local acts & DJ’s mixing the latest music. 

Backstage Theater- For the cultured members of your group don't miss our local theater. Different plays run throughout the year. Call ahead to see what is showing during your stay!
